Tidak seperti review saya sebelumnya dalam album EF Give Me Beauty ... or Give Me Death!, kali ini saya mencoba mereview secara singkat keseluruhan musik EF. Band post-rock asal Gothenburg, Swedia ini terinspirasi band macam Godspeed You! Black Emperor atau Explosions In The Sky, meskipun tanpa unsur cinematic yang lebih dalam musiknya tetapi suara vokal dapat merubah tatanan ini menjadi luar biasa.


Puisi adalah hal yang pertama dan terutama dalam musik EF, dipadu dengan musik post-rock yang sangat kental menjadikan EF salah satu band yang memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Sampai saat ini, EF sudah mengeluarkan 4 album yaitu A Trilogy of Dreams, Noise and Silence (2004) | Give Me Beauty ... or Give Me Death! (2006) | I Am Responsible (2008) | Hello Scotland Remixes (2008) dan 4 album demo yang mereka rilis terbatas pada saat konser mereka. Hal ini mengingatkan saya pada band 65daysofstatic yang juga merilis demo yang dijual terbatas pada saat konser mereka.

Worth to listen it mate ...
